The Dual International Masters in Mathematical Informatics is unique programme delivered by two academically renowned Universities in Europe: Liverpool Hope University, UK and the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, France.

By utilising the teaching knowledge, research excellence and first class faculties of two leading European institutions, the Dual International Masters in Mathematical Informatics provides a world class academic curriculum and practical learning experience for the technology and scientific graduates of the future.

The Dual International Masters in Mathematical Informatics programme provides students the opportunity to study both in the UK and in France where they will gain two degrees in less time and at a lower cost than it would take to earn the degrees independently.

Successful graduates will gain the MSc Computer Science and Informatics, awarded by Liverpool Hope University, UK and MSc Applied Mathematics, taught at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, and awarded by the University of Angers, France.

The programme includes a paid internship where students will be working on a technology project within a company. The internship gives an opportunity to utilise the technical, scientific and academic knowledge learnt within the programme whilst further developing communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. The internship cumulates in a research dissertation that is assessed by both Liverpool Hope University and Université Catholique de l’Ouest.

Entry Requirements:

A good degree (minimum of second class or equivalent) in computer science, computing, science, or an engineering-based discipline, OR;

A good degree (minimum of second class or equivalent) with at least 50% computing element, plus analytical aptitude, OR;

Highly relevant industrial experience equivalent to degree level, and analytical aptitude Computer Science, computing, science, or an engineering based discipline.

English language requirement: Students whose first language is not English are normally required to have an IELTS 6.5 (reading 6, writing 6), TOEFL ibt 87 or other equivalent recognised English language qualification.
